Crimea is an autonomous republic of Ukraine located on the northern coast of the Black Sea, which occupies a peninsula bearing the same name. It is connected to the rest of Ukraine by a narrow strip of land, which acts as a natural bridge. With an average of 28 degrees celcius during Summer, it is a popular tourist destination.

Most tourists either enjoy one of the many coastal beach cities, or enjoy active holidays hiking through the mountains.

Famously the site of the Crimean War from 1853 to 1856, these days Crimea is an altogether more peaceful area, with many sights for visitors to enjoy.
