Activity Holidays in Estonia

Sweet almonds sale in Tallinn Old Town by Eve Kiiler/Estonian Tourism Board

Estonia is a great destination for adventurers, thrill-seekers and nature lovers. Though the country is perhaps most well-known for its relaxed capital Tallinn, Estonia also has a lot to offer for those looking for a more active holiday experience.

Visitors to Estonia can explore this small country along with two of its closest neighbours Latvia and Lithuania by bike on one of our cycling tours. This is an excellent way to get off the beaten track and see more of these three beautiful countries, visiting towns, villages and spectacular countryside.

Estonia is a paradise for nature lovers with a number of national parks such as Lahemaa National Park - a flat marshy forest on the country's north coast teeming with wildlife such as wild boar, wolves, lynxes and even bears.

In the winter, Estonia is home to number of small ski resorts. Here you can combine a short city break in Tallinn with a visit to Otepää, known as Estonia's "winter capital" which has previously been a host of the Cross-Country Skiing World Championships.

Despite its size, the small country of Estonia has so much to offer for travellers seeking an active holiday at any time of year.
