The buses ply through every part of the city. Tourists can opt for the red colored buses, which work as bus tours and have special stops in the Old Town region. The tram network functions around the city centre, with 4 lines in operation. The trolleybuses are arranged in eight lines, with most of the fleet being relatively new. Several taxi companies as well as sole taxis serve the city- there is no single defined charge rate, though prices are normally pretty low. For tourists it is best to order taxis by phone from the reputed companies to avoid being scammed. The great thing about public transport within the city is that the same ticket system is applicable to all modes and hence it easy to purchase a 10 day, 30 day, or even 72 hour ticket, and travel the length and breadth of the city at ease.
