Denmark is ideal for cycling.
Copenhagen, for example, has 350 kilometres of curb segregated cycle tracks; 23 kilometres of on street cycle lanes and 43 kilometres of off-street green cycling routes through parks and green spaces.
The countryside also has a lot of lanes for cycling in safety. Outside Copenhagen, there is plenty of countryside and safe cycling lanes. For example in North Zealand ( Hornbaek, Gilleleje, Elsinore ( Hamlet and Kronborg ), Skagen ( top of Jutland, going from Frederikshavn ), Bornholm, Fyn: all are unique and combine picturesque towns and areas to explore with ideal cycling for all the family.
As the country is also very flat, that makes it easier to attack the roads whether you are more or less fit. The option that is making cycling more and more accessible is electric bikes that enable the somewhat less fit traveler to enjoy the pleasures of cycling.
We know Denmark and we will take you there.
