Estonia is a true delight for cyclists. Its range of scenery and rides can provide every standard of rider with a perfect day's cycling. In a country just over half the size of Scotland, there are bogs; cliffs; beaches; islands and more than enough history and culture to satisfy every taste.
The Eurovelo Route 10 follows the Estonian route 1 for 981 kilometres along the coastline, taking in the islands of Muhu, Saaremaa and Hiiumaaa before looping back to the national capital, Tallinn, and on to the Russian border via Latemaa National Park. This route provides wonderful opportunities for nature ramblers and bird-watchers, as you explore this jewel of a country.
As well as this coastal route, there are many marked cycle routes throughout this country of approximately 1.4 million people. Estonia is generally a very flat country so, dependent on the distances travelled, your days will not be too strenuous and most adults with a decent fitness-level will enjoy exploring Estonia. You can either include Latvia and Lithuania in your cycling tour to give a thorough Baltic experience or concentrate on Estonia.
A cycling tour is an excellent way to see the Baltic States of Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia and enjoy some light cycling. Cycling distances vary from 15km - 45km per day. The terrain is mostly flat, and our tour is recommended for travellers between the ages of 35 - 65 in average physical condition.
We know Estonia and we will take you there.
