Finland, the land with over 1000 lakes, has so much to offer to its visitors. Every year, Finland has visitors not only in Helsinki, but also its countryside to see Santa, and to take part in activities including Gingerbread making, Elf School, cutting down a Christmas Tree, Tobogganing, sledging, and sipping hot drinks by an open log fireplace whilst looking for the Northern Lights.
Finland also offers amazing accomodation where you can see the Northern Lights, Ice Hotels, try Rally Driving, copying Hakkinen of course, snowmobile safaris, snow saunas, reindeer or husky sledding, skiing, snowshoe trekking, ice fishing, sailing on an Ice Breaker, exploring the wildlife ( including brown bears, grey wolves, elk, wolverine, and Lapland Foxes), and a sleighride through the quietness of this huge country. You can also enjoy cycling or just hiking and trekking in most of the country during the summertime, when you can see the Midnight Sun, and perhaps even explore the Arctic by driving around yourselves. Or why not go on a Cruise to visit Sweden, Russia, Latvia, Estonia at the same time. You can possibly even take your trip further, if you have time. Moomin World is also great for the kids.
