Hotel & Spa Resort Järvisydän is located in the northern part of Finland’s biggest lake, beautiful Lake Saimaa. In the Lake Spa you get to experience unique Finnish way to relax by the lake. The Spa Resort has been providing excellent hospitality and exceptional services since 1685 when the Russian Czar and King of Sweden agreed to build and maintain a road through Finland. The road needed a spot every 30 km where travellers could rest and feed their horses. Porosalmi, where Järvisydän is located nowadays, happened to be one these resting places. Now the same Heiskanen family is taking care of the resting place in its 11th generation.

The Spa resort offers comfortable accommodation just by the restaurant and Lake Spa. You have a wide variety of options from standard hotel rooms to Scenery Suites and House Boats! All guest rooms have modern amenities but are constructed from Finnish stone and aged wood. The restaurant menus change 5 times a year but are always inspired by local culinary specialities. The hotel offers many activities throughout the year and you can also enjoy the Lake Spa which is built in natural rocks overlooking Lake Saimaa.
