Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival in Rovaniemi
Upon your arrival at Rovaniemi Airport, we will pick you up and transfer you to your accommodation at the Ranua Resort in Ranua. The transfer time is approximately 1 hour.
Day 2: Day in the Nature and Midnight Sun with a Finnhorse
After breakfast, it’s time to head into the forest for a truly authentic Finnish experience. Spend the day surrounded by nature as you forage for seasonal berries like cloudberries, blueberries, lingonberries, and cranberries.
After your time in the woods, gather around a cosy campfire to make traditional Finnish pancakes over an open flame and enjoy them with a refreshing drink.
In the evening, as the soft light of the summer night lingers, enjoy a relaxing carriage ride through the countryside with a Finnhorse—the only native horse breed in Finland, known for its calm temperament and deep roots in Finnish history.
Day 3: Arctic Wildlife
After breakfast, you’ll have the chance to explore the Wildlife Park located right next to the resort.
Open year-round, the Ranua Wildlife Park is home to over numerous Arctic species, including Finland’s only polar bears. Later, you’ll discover the magic of the park after hours. As Lapland settles into its soft nightless night, join a guided tour to learn more about the animals and their unique behaviours when the park is closed to the public.
Day 4: Departure
After breakfast enjoy the rest of your morning before your transfer to the airport for your return flight home.
