Rundetaarn

The Round Tower, The Spiral Walk, Rundetaarn by Erling Mandelmann - VisitDenmark

Rundetaarn is a round Tower, based in the middle of Copenhagen. It was built over 300 years ago and as an astronomical observatory those days. Originally it was connected to Copenhagen University.

Today you can walk up to the top and enjoy a fantastic view over Copenhagen but it also serves as a astronomical observatory and a historical monument and is today used as an active cultural venue and many concerts and exhibitions are arranged there.
