Compared to the size it's got a number of attractions, for example "Grenen", which is the tip where the two seas, " Kattegat" and "Skagerak" meet - you can walk there or take a tractor pulled bus out there. There is also Grenen Museum and an old bunker made into a war Museum at the same location. There is a Teddybear Museum, Skagen Museum, Vippefyret ( an old lighthouse), bikelanes all the way from town to Grenen, the tip, moving Sandbanks, the Buried Church, Brondums Hotel, Skagen Church, Skagen Odde Nature Centre and on top, all the artists. Skagen has been famous among artists due to the special light it is said to have. You can visit Anna and Michael Anchers house ( right next to a great Icecream parlour ) and Holger Drachmanns house is also open to visitors. Of others one cn mention Peder Severin Kroyer, composer Carl Nielsen, Laurits Tuxen, even Hans Christian Andersen was also a regular guest on Skagen. Their meeting place was Brondums Hotel.
