Day 3: Visby, Gotland

Breakfast at the hotel. Today you will have the opportunity not just to explore Visby but also the fantastic Island of Gotland. We suggest a day excursion to the north-western parts of Gotland to see the Lummelunda Caves. The cave is almost 4 km long and the Lummelunda creek is flowing trough the caves for approximately 1,3 km. If you don’t feel like going back to Visby just yet, continue driving from Lummelunda to Lickershamn. Here you will find one of Gotlands most famous land marks, Raukar. The Rauks Stone stacks have been formed by the ocean for thousands of years.

Day 4: Visby, Gotland

Breakfast at the hotel. Day at leisure. On a sunny day we highly recommend a visit to one of the long, white beaches near Visby.  Just North Gotland you will find the island of Fårö which differs distincly from the rest of Gotland, even though the ferry crossing only takes a few minutes. The landscape here is starker and the sand finer than the rest of Gotland. This is the home of the world famous director Ingmar Bergman (1918-2007). He often announced Fårö to be one of the most beautiful and peaceful places in the world. Several ferry departures daily Gotland-Fårö during the summer season.
