Arboretum and Botanical Gardens at Milde
Spread over an area of 125 acres, this open air showcase of natural flora has a variety of local and exotic trees and shrubs. The best time to visit the Arboretum is late May or early June, as this is when the Rhododendron blossoms. Moreover, the landscape of the botanical gardens is breathtaking, with hillocks, gorges, lakes and even a shoreline. Apart from visiting it so as to appreciate the several thousand species of trees in their natural environment and habitat, it is an ideal location for walks, hikes and swimming. The Aquarium is open from 10:00AM to 6:00PM in the winter season and from 9:00AM to 7:00PM during summer.
