More about Package holidays to Poland

Custom Dream Holidays in Poland

There is so much to see and do in Poland, and our tour packages are designed to ensure every moment you spend helps you savour all of Poland's charm. Our holidays can be scheduled to suit, from December trips to enjoy the festive Christmas markets to summer breaks to relax in the natural vistas of the Masurian Lake District.

Some of the top destinations in Poland are outside the romantic cities, including meandering boat tours down the vast Vistula River, which winds through the Polish capital and Gdansk all the way to Southern Poland.

Active types can delve underground at the Wieliczka Salt Mine, climb to the highest towers of the many gothic castles and cathedrals, or engage in water sports and beachside activities in the summer months, visiting the Baltic coast at Sopot.

Must-See Cultural Sites and Historical Holidays in Poland

History lovers are spoiled for choice in Poland, with numerous historic buildings, along with the solemnity and gravitas of the Auschwitz Birkenau museum, with the Auschwitz Birkenau Memorial a place of remembrance, pilgrimage and prayer for thousands of visitors from around the world.

We recommend destinations such as Wawel Castle, an iconic cathedral in Krakow that dates back to the 14th century and Castle Square in Warsaw, located directly in front of the Royal Castle and once the home of monarchs and royalty in days gone by.

Families and travellers interested in Poland's past should also visit Wroclaw, where they can see the Cathedral of St John the Baptist, alongside a leisurely trip to Wroclaw Zoo and the busy, welcoming Rynek area brimming with cafes, small boutiques, bars and restaurants ideal for outdoor breakfast dining on a sunny summer's day or savouring the local sour cream dishes for a filling lunch.

Romantic Polish Holidays and Experiences

If your idea of a perfect trip is to absorb the architecture, luxury and opulence of Central Europe, Poland is a fantastic choice. Our packages include beautiful hotel accommodations, private tours of the most popular destinations in the centre of the cities, and the opportunity to explore and adventure into the cobbled streets and old town settings at your own pace.

We suggest you confirm bookings for the peak summer season and winter trips to see the Christmas markets in advance where possible, given the popularity of these packages, and can organise convenient flights from all the major UK airports, including London, often flying to Warsaw Chopin Airport.

Couples can enjoy lively nights in high-paced Polish bars and clubs, relax in the quiet peace of Lazienki Park, or join revellers in the main square in every major city to celebrate New Year’s Eve and other special occasions, dancing the night away to local music, bands and fireworks.

Why Choose Poland for your Central European Holiday?

Poland is a truly special country and the 17th largest in the world, with snow-filled winters and warm, balmy summers, offering remarkable natural landscapes during every season, from awe-inspiring mountain ranges to tree-lined old town streets.

The culture and history intertwined with this nation are impossible to overstate, with no less than 15 sites awarded UNESCO World Heritage Status with museums, palaces, cathedrals and churches from every element of Europe’s long and complex past.

However, what makes Poland stand out as a destination is the contrast between the incredible gothic architecture and the wide, open spaces, with quiet, cool forests, a pristine coastal seaside region and deep, clear lakes.

Polish Cuisine and Fine Dining Holiday Experiences

While British and American travellers may be unfamiliar with Polish cuisine, it features some of the most delicious recipes on the continent, including local dishes that have inspired modern favourite treats! Venture to a Polish café and try poppyseed cake served during December, borscht, jam doughnuts, glazed cheesecake and rich bigos – a hunter's stew.

While Poland may be a quiet, peaceful and friendly country, it is also a place of celebration. It has a vibrant, energising social scene with modern bars nestled next to craft shops, traditional cafes and charming family-run restaurants.

Reviews of Package holidays to Poland

Dear Daina,

Only just back Sunday, and then work... .

Poland was lovely - really interesting, varied and stimulating.  The hotels made fine bases in both Zakopane and Krakow, and we thoroughly enjoyed both places - for very different reasons.

Hotel Aries was very good indeed, and yet just quirky enough not to make one feel 'processed'; the spa and related facilities were among the best I've ever been to (and I used to travel a lot in the UK) - in fact only equalled by those of the Hotel Stary, which were magnificent, especially given their setting - under 16th century vaulted brickwork.  Service was lovely in both places, and though we had to hunt a little in Zakopane for ethnically interesting restaurants that weren't too loud or packed (end of Polish holidays?), the ones we found were delightful - live folk music, and good hearty, yet sometimes subtly prepared Polish cuisine.  Krakow was pricier than I expected, but still cheaper than England, and a cultural gem.  The decor throughout Stary was astoundingly good (even though occasionally lighting got a little lost in the exquisite play of contemporary style and history)!

The transfers were fine, and drivers courteous in the extreme - though one driver seemed to express all of his inner angst on giving us a particularly scary white knuckle ride (perhaps he thought we were in a rush/)!

All in all, we were very pleased - thank you.

Robert

Hi there

We had a great time. Holiday was beautifully organised and there were lots of interesting things for Archie and myself to see and do in both locations. People in Poland were great. Helpful and very honest. The hotel in Krakow was excellent and I would definitely stay there again. Transfers and trips were handled very smoothly. The tour guide on the Krakow tour was a lovely lady but not good at bringing history to life. Bit dry in her delivery.

Hotel in zakopane had a lot of positives in terms of amenities. Housekeeping however was not good and needs to be addressed. They failed to do room on one day which I really wouldn't be bothered about normally but we had run out of loo roll. I went to reception three times with no success so ended up searching the hotel myself for a storage cupboard with loo roll. Thankfully my perseverance paid off!

Overall however it was fab and I would happily do it all again

Thank you for a great holiday. We would definitely travel with you again.

Hi Saija,

We had a wonderful trip to Poland. It was a little hectic, but we managed
to see everything and met some very nice traveling companions who were
with us on our tour.

Thanks for all your help, it was much appreciated.

We enjoyed the tour of Poland and the extra day in Krakow. The St Oliwa organ recital is hugely amusing, because of the moving organ parts. Jasna Gora monastery was intriguing and Auschwitz harrowing. The annual March of the sausage dogs in Krakow was a lovely surprise and great fun.
The courier Renata was very good, as was the driver. The small bus was uncomfortable with a lack of leg room. Sometimes it was a long wait for a loo break. The motorways were quite tedious to use because of the roadside barriers blocking the view. The hotels were alright though the buffet in Gdansk was dreadful. We ate there as we arrived so late. The Wrocslaw hotel restaurant was good, others a bit mixed.
Overall a good experience and a good introduction to Poland.

Everything went well .
Very impressed with Krakow, the Salt Mines and Jewish quarter and the Castle.
Sorry didn't get to your restaurants but Kogel Mogel and Szaras were very good.
Thanks for the organisation
Terry
